Fantasy Football Trade Target: Demaryius Thomas

Demaryius Thomas

Demaryius Thomas was a third-round pick in most fantasy football drafts this off-season. However, any owner who drafted Thomas has to be upset with what he has done so far this season.

You would think that Thomas’ numbers would be out of this world considering Peyton Manning‘s unreal statistics, yet that just isn’t the case. Instead, the Denver Broncos‘ supposed number one wide receiver has only gone into double digit fantasy points twice this year — non PPR league. Not to mention, No. 88 has fought a nagging ankle injury seemingly every week.

So why in the world should you make a deal for this struggling wide receiver? Well, Thomas is easily the fastest Broncos’ wide receiver and that isn’t something to scoff at as the season wears on.

Not to mention the guy in your league who has Thomas likely sees what Eric Decker, Wes Welker, Knowshon Moreno and Julius Thomas have been doing in 2013 and can’t stand it anymore. This allows you to get a No. 1 wide receiver at a rather cheap price. Yes — Thomas is a No. 1 because he has erupted for a couple of two-touchdown games already this season. Guys like Thomas don’t wind up on the waiver wire, so try to strike a deal for this Broncos’ wide receiver before it’s too late.
