Week 10 Fantasy Football: 5 Final IDP Predictions

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

There always seems to be plenty of fantasy football info out there for standard leagues, but there is never enough IDP stuff on the web. So to help you this week, here are five bold IDP predictions for Week 10.

1. DE J.J. Watt Will Have 2 Sacks

After leading the NFL with 20.5 sacks last season, Watt was drafted as the number one lineman in every fantasy format this summer. The reining Defensive Player of the Year has only racked up 5.5 sacks through the first eight games, though, including just two sacks in the last four games. Fortunately, Houston plays the struggling Arizona Cardinals‘ offense line this week and Watt should be able to get to QB Carson Palmer a couple times.

2. CB Charles Tillman Will Pick Off QB Matthew Stafford

The last time Tillman picked off Stafford it was returned for a 44-yard touchdown back in 2011. Tillman will be all over WR Calvin Johnson this weekend and the corner will get plenty of chances to jump in front of a pass. I think Peanut Tillman will walk away with at least one interception this Sunday.

3. S Eric Weddle Will Have At Least 8 Hits

If there is one thing the Denver Broncos love to do, it is throw the ball. QB Peyton Manning uses his trio of wideouts perfectly and the extensive passing game will cause the secondary of the  San Diego Chargers to be on their toes all afternoon. Look for Weddle to easily have eight hits this week.

4. DE Osi Umenyiora Will Have 2 Sacks

Opposing pass rushers have been able to get to Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson this season, as the young signal caller has already been sacked 27 times. More particularly, Wilson has been sacked by a lot of linemen that are quick off the line and decisive in their gap penetration. This is exactly how Osi plays and the veteran could be in for a huge game against Wilson in Week 10.

5. LB Sean Lee Will Rack Up 10 Tackles

Lee has averaged 12.3 tackles over his last six games to go along with four interceptions. He has been all over the field this season, and considering Dallas plays the New Orleans Saints this week, Lee will be forced to do it again this Sunday. A 10-tackle performance will likely be the low end of the linebacker’s stat line for this weekend.
