Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki has been voted to the All-Star game in four straight seasons. He was in contention for a fantasy MVP for most of last season and will be a very high draft pick this spring. However, there is a good deal of concern surrounding the veteran and here are five reasons why you shouldn’t draft the veteran shortstop this spring.

Tulowitzki stole 20 bases in 2009 and followed it up with 11 steals in 2010. Unfortunately, he has stolen only four bases in the last three seasons alone. The veteran is no longer a SB threat, which limits his overall fantasy value.

Even though Tulo is one top of the shortstop mountain, there are tons of quality options out there this season. There is no need to reach for an oft-injured veteran when you get find Hanley Ramirez or Jose Reyes two rounds later.
