Brandon Belt’s Horrendous Baserunning Ends Promising Inning For Giants
What looked to be a promising inning for the San Francisco Giants ended with a dud when Brandon Belt decided to get cute on the basepaths. Sure, it was Belt who tied the game with his impressive double to right field, which scored Pablo Sandoval from second base. Still, who knows where the momentum in the top of the fourth inning would have taken the Giants if he did not decide to get crazy legs in a critical moment?
Belt’s fail erased what could have been a huge mistake by the Royals. Game 2 of the World Series continues to be as entertaining as it gets.
