The Texas Rangers are currently sitting in second place in the AL West with a 33-30 record, but chances are they won't maintain this level of play all season. That leaves the Rangers as potential sellers when the trade deadline comes around on July 31. The Rangers have some key assets they should move in order to keep rebuilding the team. Here are five players they need to deal by the deadline.

Mitch Moreland has been a solid performer so far this season and his stock has never been higher. Contending teams looking for another power bat in the lineup could and should come calling about the Rangers first baseman. Moreland is currently hitting .308 with eight home runs and 30 RBIs, all of which are good numbers. The St. Louis Cardinals could be a potential landing spot due to the loss of Matt Adams.

4. Shawn Tolleson

The Texas Rangers closer will also attract interest from many contending teams. Tolleson has proven to be a solid consistent bullpen piece as he holds a 2.76 ERA while adding eight saves. He also has experience in a setup role, as he was the primary setup man for Neftali Feliz before he went down with an injury. Tolleson could bring back a solid prospect or two in a potential trade.

3. Keone Kela

Keone Kela has been a rookie sensation out of the Rangers' bullpen so far this season with a 2.30 ERA while also accruing four wins in relief duties. Those are outstanding numbers and even more impressive when you mention that Kela is a rookie. A solid reliever will always be something that contending teams will look for. That makes Kela a very intriguing option to many teams looking for bullpen help.

2. Adrian Beltre

Adrian Beltre is currently residing on the disabled list which opened the door for young sensation Joey Gallo. Since being promoted, Gallo has absolutely crushed the ball and tantalized fans with his potential. This has also led to fans almost forgetting about Beltre and his solid play. The Rangers should look to move Beltre when he returns from injury thanks to Gallo and also because of the possible return they could get.

Andrus is simply not performing this year and a change of scenery might do him some good. The shortstop is currently struggling this season, hitting an abysmal .239 for the Rangers. His huge salary at $ 15.3 million could make a trade difficult, but he may attract some teams looking for middle infield help.
