This week for Fantasy NASCAR we head to the super fast track of the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Now looking at this week based on the numbers it would seem like an easier track to pick than the last couple specifically compared to Bristol where anything can happen and just because you are running well doesn’t mean you are going to finish well (just ask Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth who were both running very well at Bristol until Gordon lost a tire.)

The easy pick everyone will presumably put on their roster will be Jimmie Johnson the veritable King of the Auto Club. At his home track Five Time has coincidentally five trips to victory lane. Even though Jimmie may seem like the automatic expensive pick for your team there are certainly others who are worth their weight.

Two that quickly come to mind are Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch. Kenseth has consistently had very strong cars throughout this season even picking up a win at Las Vegas.

While on the other hand Busch has always ran fairly well at this track as long as he can keep his car running. He is also running on momentum from two top five finishes in the last two races at home track Las Vegas and Bristol. On another note Ol’ Smoke Tony Stewart isn’t a bad pick this week as he has won here in the past and his luck is bound to be getting better soon.

I personally included reigning champ Brad Keselowski in my team this week against what would seem to be popular sentiment. I think that the way Bad Brad has run this year he can pull out a good finish at this track that he has never been terribly strong at before.
