Dale Earnhardt Jr. may be getting ready to take on the Tricky Triangle at Pocono this weekend, but that won’t be the only coverage of him on television.

With Mountain Dew as one of his sponsors, Earnhardt will be a part of a new ad featuring a live-action portrait beginning on Saturday. According to USA Today, the new ad is suppose to represent many of Earnhardt’s interests and personal tastes.

Throughout the ad called the “Living Portrait of Dale Earnhardt Jr.,” it features NASCAR’s most popular driver as the center of attention. He might be the Cup Series most popular driver for several years, but for his living portrait, he’s the king sitting on an engine throne.

A lot takes place through Earnhardt’s ad and it’s way bigger than a typical victory lane celebration.

Earnhardt will be one of the many faces in the “This is How We DEW” campaign, along with pro snowboarder Danny Davis, and pro skateboarder Paul Rodriguez.

For his living portrait, Earnhardt definitely has a lot going in, but it allows fans to see he some of his personal interests. The ad will also allow fans not only sit on the throne as many have known him to be a big part of NASCAR, but also spot him doing what could be another hobby.

The ad features plenty of Earnhardt and to capture all of the details, it requires looking behind the center of the ad.

Earnhardt’s new commercial is not the typical commercial that many have seen him in the past, but it’s unique.  Who knows, maybe the ad could be how Earnhardt wants to celebrate the next time he makes it to victory lane.
