After the Los Angeles Lakers beat Boston badly on the rebounding front during the Finals, Danny Ainge knew his work would be to improve the teams’ rebounding.  Glen Davis and Rasheed Wallace did a nice job with their play in the playoffs, but the team could not match the size of the Lakers. That need for inside presence was further elevated to the top of the needs lists after Kendrick Perkins went down with a knee injury that will sideline him until January. Since Ainge has taken over, the Celtics have never been a team that did not address their needs in the offseason. First Ainge went out and got veteran big man Jermaine O’Neal.  Jermaine is a great addition. Jermaine can shoot and score in the paint as well as rebound and shot block at the other end.
