The Detroit Pistons are in the middle of a roster overhaul. There are certain players who could be available around the league who can help turn them around, and here are five trade targets the Pistons should look into.

Chase Budinger has been on the trading block since the beginning of the year, and the Pistons showed interest in the past. He would be a good fit for Stan Van Gundy's offense, and he could be had for virtually nothing. His contract isn't the most appealing, with another year left after this one at million, but Budinger could be worth it.

There has been bad blood reported in New York between Tim Hardaway Jr. and Carmelo Anthony. Obviously Anthony isn't going anywhere, so Hardaway Jr. could be moved if things aren't smoothed over. Hardaway Jr.'s father is an assistant for the Pistons, and Jr. could thrive in SVG's offense.

Wesley Matthews can shoot, defend and is perfect for SVG's scheme. He is in the last year of his contract, and Portland may not be able to afford to keep him with LaMarcus Aldridge also due for a new deal. With Robin Lopez injured, Portland may consider a swap for Greg Monroe. Monroe will be a free agent after this season as well, so there would be risk for both teams.

There have been rumors that Wilson Chandler may be available for the right price. He is exactly what Detroit needs at small forward, and they could possibly have him for a couple of expiring contracts. Chandler is on the books for more than million next season, and Denver may be looking to rebuild. Chandler was born and raised in Benton Harbor, MI, so it would be a homecoming of sorts for him.

Goran Dragic will almost certainly be opting out of his contract after this season and becoming a free agent. Phoenix has a logjam at point guard, and it's unlikely they will be able to re-sign him. The Phoenix Suns don't have much post scoring, so a Dragic for Greg Monroe swap could work. Monroe would have to agree to the deal, and if it happens, both teams would risk losing their acquisition in the offseason.
