Paul Pierce came up rather short for another Finals appearance with the Washington Wizards this past season, but that could change in the upcoming season … and with a different team.

If this actually were to happen, Pierce and Doc Rivers would be reunited once again. In case people forgot, the two won a title together while with the Boston Celtics. That said, the Los Angeles Clippers may have a completely different outlook if DeAndre Jordan is no longer playing in L.A.

David Aldridge of NBA.com had this to say about the matter:

Washington’s main issue is complacency. The Wizards could stand pat if Pierce decides to return to D.C. next season rather than opt out of his deal, but many around the league believe Pierce will do just that and finish his career back home in Los Angeles with the Clippers.

Pierce going out with a coach he is very familiar with is not a bad way to go out. Pierce also showed that he has some left in the tank this past season. At the very least, “The Truth” would provide a veteran presence.

I'm sure his father, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, will have a talk with him about this unfortunate scenario.

Jeff Van Gundy Wants NBA Dance Teams To Quit Smiling

During Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, ESPN broadcaster Jeff Van Gundy took exception to the fact that the Clippers dance team was smiling during its routine despite Los Angeles trailing by a significant amount. Well, in what can be described as a bit of poetic justice, the Clippers ended up pulling off an epic comeback win, and Van Gundy was put in his place.

Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins Chucks Ball At Chris Paul

DeMarcus Cousins didn't do anything wrong on this play, per se, but he undoubtedly made sure to put some extra mustard on the toss. I mean, look at his face! Chris Paul handled it correctly by not turning it into a big thing, but he couldn't have been incredibly pleased.
