Marc Gasol will be one of the most coveted free agents this summer, as he is arguably the best two-way center in the game. His versatility, basketball IQ, and personality will likely allow him to fit in with almost any team that has enough cap space. Here are the top five landing spots for Gasol this offseason.

Coach Rick Carlisle would surely love to utilize Gasol’s passing ability and versatility on offense, and Gasol’s presence could turn this team into a contender again. They would be a fun team to watch, as they would likely be highly efficient on the offensive side of the court.

4. New York Knicks

The Knicks have the money, and Gasol would be a very good fit for the triangle offense. He would get to play in a big market along another star player, and the roster should be a lot different from last year. But the organization has struggled recently and there is no guarantee that they can build a contender in a short amount of time.

3. Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers have assets and cap space to work with this offseason, as well as an aging star in Kobe Bryant. However, the team is likely a couple of years away from contending unless they make some bold moves this offseason.

2. San Antonio Spurs

If Tim Duncan was to retire, Gasol would be the perfect player to replace him. He can help facilitate the offense and understands the important of ball movement, while also being one of the top defensive centers. The Spurs would have to make some bold decisions to free up enough space though as they still have their own free agents to worry about.

Gasol has a very good thing going in Memphis, as they are one of the toughest teams to beat in the Western Conference. They have yet to get over the hump, but the West is so talented that it is hard to argue with their success. If Gasol re-signs then they will once again be one of the teams to beat.

Matt Barnes Follows John Henson Into Tunnel After Double Ejection

John Henson and Matt Barnes got into it on Thursday evening. After Henson emphatically rejected Barnes, he showcased an outrageous stink face, and Barnes took exception. Both players were ejected, and Barnes subsequently followed Henson down the tunnel to the Bucks' locker room. Henson was seen with a scrape on his face after the game, so it's fair to assume to two weren't discussing their NCAA tournament brackets in the bowels of BMO Harris Bradley Center.
