We’re now at the point at which we can focus solely on this weekend’s biggest game.  The Michigan Wolverines will put their basketball club to the test as they travel to Bloomington to face the Indiana Hoosiers.  While both teams have enjoyed a lot success this season, this will be by far the biggest game of the year of each team.

Michigan brings to the table a very nice looking team.  They are complete in every aspect of the game.  Led by Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr., Michigan is very dynamic around the perimeter.  While remaining unselfish, their guards have a knack for scoring the basketball no matter if it’s from the inside or outside.  On the defensive end, they can get after opposing guards and really make it tough for teams to get into their offense.  They must, however, find an answer for the inside game of Indiana.

The Hoosiers will be playing in a comfortable environment and will utilize the crowd as their sixth man. The most impressive attribute of Indiana’s team is that they are very efficient in their execution.  While athletic, Indiana plays a very controlled and deliberate style of basketball and it’s very effective. Led by Cody Zeller on the inside, Indiana will be able to put a ton of pressure on the Michigan defense and if Indiana wants to win this game, they’ll likely need to ride Zeller.  Michigan, however, appears to be up to the challenge and it should be one heck of a matchup in the Big Ten.
