ESPN College Basketball Tipoff Marathon: TV Schedule

College basketball is back.

While we have all gotten a sneak peak at this season, Monday night brings the sixth annual ESPN Tipoff Marathon. The marathon runs through Tuesday night, and will feature some of the seasons most anticipated games in women’s and men’s basketball.

Two of the most anticipated games include No.3 Michigan State vs. No.1 Kentucky, followed by No.5 Kansas vs. No.6 Duke.

Unlike many one-and-done players, six of seven of Michigan State’s top scorers return from their Sweet 16 run last season, including Adreian Payne and Gary Harris, who decided to pass on the NBA. For Kentucky, Julius Randle and Alex Poythress lead the charge.

The Kansas/Duke matchup features two of the best recruits from the offseason. Duke forward Jabari Parker, who has already had an impressive debut with 22 points against Davidson, is the ACC’s preseason rookie of the year. Kansas’ Andrew Wiggins, the nation’s top recruit, puts up efficient numbers against Louisiana Monroe: 16 points, three rebounds, three steals, two assists and two turnovers.

The 24 consecutive hours of college hoops is every college basketball fan’s dream.
