Duke has a nice mix of returning and incoming talent, leading to a team loaded with depth and skill. Here is my take on the team's stats leaders for the upcoming season.

Points Per Game: Jahlil Okafor

Okafor is going to be the main focus of this basketball team, as he is a monster down low and has the size that very few players can compete with at the collegiate level. Okafor is going to be able to utilize his physicality and skill down low in order to put up a consistent double-double every night.

Speaking of double-doubles, the other part to that equation is the rebounds, and Okafor is going to get a lot of them, as he will be the featured big man who will be counted on to pull down the boards and keep his team afloat in that category.

Assists Per Game: Quinn Cook

Cook is the main point guard and veteran leader on this team, and he will look to get all of his teammates involved in the offense, as he is a better passer than one-on-one scorer. Cook has improved his shooting, but he should look to be a team player first.

Steals Per Game: Justise Winslow

I am going out on a limb on this one, but Winslow is going to be the difference-maker defensively for the Blue Devils. Winslow's versatility on the wing will allow him to guard multiple positions, and his wingspan and defensive instincts will help him create deflections and steal opportunities that will boost the offense into overdrive.

Blocks Per Game: Jahlil Okafor

Should this really be a surprise if Okafor is the focus down low? Okafor will have the biggest chance to prove himself on both ends of the floor out of anyone on the team, and his size and length will be crucial in swatting away the other team's shot opportunities.
