The Kentucky Wildcats are more loaded than ever this year, but would it be unreasonable to expect an undefeated season from them? I say no. The country's most talented team faces a tough early-season test against the Kansas Jayhawks in late November, however, they will overcome and give John Calipari his first undefeated season of basketball.

Twins Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison wisely decided on returning to school, and they should both shine with another year of seasoning under Calipari.

Karl-Anthony Towns was last season's Gatorade High School Athlete of the Year, and the freshman is joined at Kentucky by three other incoming McDonald's All Americans. On a team this talented, Towns might not even start at first, but it would surprise me if he is not in the lineup come March.

Dakari Johnson did not get great playing time last season, but he gives Calipari a low post option when things break down. Johnson is also a beast defensively and should help them be consistent on that side of the ball.

Willie Cauley-Stein and Alex Poythress will help the younger players to settle down early, and there will be many who are surprised by the poise of freshmen Tyler Ulis and Towns.

"I knew they were good coming into this game, but sitting out there watching it on the sideline, honestly I don't see how they're going to get beat this year," said head coach Chris Briggs after his team's 121-52 defeat at Rupp Arena. Calipari rightfully downplayed this kind of talk after the win, but (secretly) he knows this team has a shot to run the table.
