Texans sign Adewale Ogunleye

Texan’s 2009 2nd round pick defensive end Connor Barwin suffered a season ending ankle injury in the win against the Colts last Sunday. Barwin showed huge potential in his rookie season and the coaches love his work ethic so they were very disappointed to see him carted off the field in the first game of the season. But the NFL is a business and the show must go on so the Texans signed 10 year veteran Adewale Ogunleye this week to play defensive end in place of Barwin. Ogunleye, who played the last 6 seasons with the Bears, helped Chicago get to the Super Bowl in 2007 and has had two seasons of over 10 sacks.
