Rumors Swirl: Cowboys Coach Wade Phillips to be Fired

Nothing is official and nothing has been confirmed, but two sources close to the Cowboys organization have leaked information that Dallas team owner Jerry Jones is planning to fire head coach Wade Phillips. Again, nothing has been confirmed, but these sources are very confident of Jones’ plans. ProSportsBlogging.com wrote that the sources say that Jones wants a better solution for his head coach and is currently “working the phones”about finding a replacement for Phillips. The sources have also said Jones’ top choices for his next head coach are former coaches currently working with television networks.
