Week 1 of the NFL season is underway with several great matchup’s slated for Sunday. One of the best games of the week will be played Sunday night in Dallas at ATT&T Stadium between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. These two teams are bitter division rivals and a Week 1 win for either team will set the tone for the rest of the season. This game is guaranteed to feature big plays, huge hits, and high scores and will most likely be one of the most exciting games of the week.

Tony Romo has an extremely large amount of critics. Many say, “He can’t win big games” or “He chokes under pressure.” I think both statements are false. While Romo has made his share of bad decisions with the game on the line, his shiftiness in the pocket and ability to keep plays alive have kept the Cowboys in games more times than not. If it wasn’t for Romo, the Cowboys would not have been one win from the playoffs last season.

I am expecting Romo to have a huge game this week. The Giants are entering Week 1 with a depleted secondary, and I believe they are going to struggle to cover the Cowboys’ receivers. With Dez BryantMiles Austin and Jason Witten at his disposal, Romo is going to pick the Giants’ secondary apart. Any one of his receivers are capable of turning any reception into a touchdown. I am expecting Romo and this high potent offense to lead the Cowboys to victory this week.
