Raymond James Stadium looked more like Lambeau Field South on Sunday, and the sea of green on hand to cheer for the visiting Green Bay Packers provided all the comforts of home necessary for Aaron Rodgers and company to hand the Tampa Bay Buccaneers their 13th loss of the season.

The win clinched the Packers’ sixth straight trip to the playoffs and sets up a showdown with the Detroit Lions in Week 17 to decide the NFC North division title.

Despite battling flu-like symptoms, Rodgers rebounded from a slow start and completed 31-of-40 pass attempts for 318 yards and a touchdown to pilot the Packers to their 11th win of the year. He was slow to find his touch, but stepped up his play in the clutch. He completed five straight passes on a long scoring drive in the third quarter that resulted in a field goal, extending the Packers’ advantage to 13-3.

It wasn’t an overly impressive effort from the Packers, who have not been a good road team this year, but one major positive they can take away in the the workmanlike win was the fact that Rodgers has his mojo back.

This should bode well for the Packers in their quest to win the division in the season finale, and who knows — the QB might just be heating up at the right time to lead the team much further than that.
