The New York Jets are undergoing a major overhaul to help make their 2015 season a much more memorable campaign than last year. See what the Jets may attempt to do in the 2015 NFL Draft to finally infuse their offense with some playmakers!

The Jets need to add more weapons on offense and drafting a dynamic wide receiver should be on top of their priority list. Assuming the Jets grab a veteran quarterback via free agency, wideout is their immediate need and they should draft Amari Cooper with their first-round draft pick. He will bring immediate success due to his amazing skills to haul in touchdowns like there is no tomorrow.

The Jets need to address their cornerback issues in both free agency and in the 2015 NFL Draft. Drafting cornerback Kevin Johnson will not only add some decent depth to their team but also bring in some much-needed aggression. He has very good cover skills and excels in zone defense as he can cover the field pretty quickly. The Jets need speed in their defensive backfield in order to improve from this past season.

Round 3: FS Jermaine Whitehead, Auburn

Needless to say, free safety Calvin Pryor was a huge disappointment last season and many are on the fence with him if he can play up to the level of the NFL. The Jets should continue to bolster their defensive secondary in the 2015 NFL Draft with Jermaine Whitehead. He's versatile in that he can perform well as a strong or free safety and has a knack for creating turnovers. The Jets desperately need more utility athletes, and he fits the mold.

Round 4: OT Jarvis Harrison, Texas A&M

The Jets' major offensive problems not only lie at wide receiver but also on their offensive line. Expect to see them draft a reliable offensive lineman who can help give more time to execute plays and open up gaps for their running game. Jarvis Harrison is versatile as he can cover both the guard and tackle positions quite well. He also excels in protecting the quarterback.

Round 5: WR Jamison Crowder, Duke University

The Jets need more utility playmakers who can not only contribute on offense but also on special teams. Wide receiver/return specialist Jamison Crowder fits this need nicely, as he has incredible speed and breaks tackles with ease. Crowder makes plays the moment the football is in his hands and could help bolster kickoff and punt returns nicely for the Jets.

Round 6: LB Hayes Pullard, USC

The Jets need to add more speed to their linebacker corps as well as prepare for the possibility of starter David Harris leaving via free agency. Drafting LB Hayes Pullard brings in a decent replacement in that scenario as he has incredible burst speed up the middle and makes plays on a consistent basis. Another area he excels in is on special teams as he prides himself on being a tackling machine.

Round 7: FS Tevin McDonald, Eastern Washington

The Jets want to make sure to address their defensive secondary issues by drafting quality to not only fill immediate needs but also to add depth. Free safety Tevin McDonald loves to make big tackles and return interceptions for touchdowns. The Jets had one of the worst seasons in creating turnovers last year, and they'll be sure to draft defenders who can make game-changing plays. McDonald brings that to the table and more.
