The New York Giants have plenty of needs that they must address in the NFL draft. They have the No. 9 overall pick, which will give them a chance to get an immediate impact player. It is important for New York to have a good draft as they are approaching the end of the road with Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin. Here is the Giants' seven-round mock draft.

Round 1: Dante Fowler Jr., DE, Florida

The New York Giants are at their best when they have a dominant pass rush. They might lose Jason Pierre-Paul this offseason which would make defensive end an even bigger need for them. Dante Fowler Jr. is one of the best pass rushers in the draft and would be a great fit for them in the first round. He had 8.5 sacks in his final season at Florida.

Round 2: Paul Dawson, OLB, TCU

The Giants have one of the weakest linebacker units in the NFL. Paul Dawson would be able to step in and start from day one. He is good in coverage and also has some pass rushing ability. He had six sacks and four interceptions during his senior season at TCU.

Round 3: Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon

The Giants have to draft an offensive lineman at some point, and Jake Fisher would be a good value pick in the third round. Fisher missed two games in the middle of the season, and the Oregon Ducks' offense took a hit as a result. They allowed 12 sacks over those two games. Fisher is a good looking prospect and would have a chance to start as a rookie at right tackle.

Round 4: Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson

The interior of the Giants' defensive line needs to have some turnover. Other than Johnathan Hankins, New York has serious questions at defensive tackle. Grady Jarrett is a good run-stuffing lineman, which is exactly what the Giants need. They will have a good foundation up front if they get Fowler in the first round and pair that with Jarrett in the fourth.

Round 5: Taiwan Jones, ILB, Michigan State

Usually, when teams select linebackers this late in the draft it is to put them on special teams. For New York, it would be to start at middle linebacker. Taiwan Jones has been a part of some very good defenses at Michigan State and would provide some stability at linebacker for the Giants.

Round 6: Malcolm Brown, RB, Texas

The Giants have had bad luck with injuries to their running backs over the past few seasons. Running back is going to be one of the deeper positions in the draft, so New York would be wise to take a flyer on one in the later rounds. Malcolm Brown ran for over 2,600 yards and 24 touchdowns in his career at Texas. At the very least, they won't have to rely on Peyton Hillis next season.

Round 7: Adrian Amos, FS, Penn State

The Giants could certainly go after secondary help earlier in the draft, but I think they can get more value at the other positions. Adrian Amos is worth a shot in the seventh round. He would likely be a special teams contributor at first, with the best-case scenario being that he develops into a safety for them.
