After a disappointing season, the New Orleans Saints are looking for some fresh blood to come in and revitalize a team that hoped to be contending for a championship, but fell well short. At about $20 million over the cap, the Saints are in a world of trouble going into free agency. Here are five bold predictions going into the offseason.

The former Heisman Trophy winner just had his best professional season, and looks to be one of the most sought after running backs in this year’s free agent class. Somebody will be willing to overpay for him, and the Saints simply won’t want to shell out the kind of money that it will take to keep him.

4. Robert Meachem has played his last game in New Orleans

Talk about a disappointing season. Look at Meachem’s numbers from 2014: Seven catches for 114 yards. Yikes. The Saints will move on and find somebody younger to take over.

3. The Saints will part ways with Parys Haralson

Although Haralson has played well over the last two seasons, he is simply getting too old to play linebacker in the NFL. The Saints will be able to find one or two younger, cheaper pieces to take his place.

2. The Saints will get one of the premier corners on the market

Don’t ask me how the Saints’ front office will find the money, but they will, and will get one of the better corners on the market. Whether it is Kareem Jackson, Brandon Flowers or Chris Culliver, expect one of the three to end up in New Orleans. If the Saints are smart, they’ll go after Jackson first.

1. There will be a lot of new faces on the offensive line come next season

Although the only real sure thing is that Jonathan Goodwin won’t be with the team, look for the Saints to part ways with Ben Grubbs and possibly Jahri Evans this offseason. If that happens, expect New Orleans to use that freed up cap space to get younger on the offensive line by going out and getting a guy like Mike Iupati or Clint Boling.
