People can do some strange, unusual, and simply odd things in moments of pure elation. A Super Bowl victory deserves a celebration greater than just about anything, and New England Patriots’ Head Coach Bill Belichick took his postgame celebration to never before seen levels following his team’s thrilling 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night.
As seen in the picture above, the four-time Super Bowl winning head coach kissed his 30-year-old daughter, Amanda, quite a bit more passionately than you’d expect from a “typical” father/daughter embrace. Perhaps a kiss of this nature between parent and child is common in some households, but I think it’s fair to say the Belichicks should leave this kind of behavior right there, in their household, and not for the rest of the world to witness.
Some social media users are of the belief this was simply a sweet and intimate act between a father and his daughter during one of the happiest moments of their lives, but most are of the sentiment that it more than crossed the line and was disturbing. I suggest doing a twitter search and checking out some of the hilarious reactions from people appalled from what they are looking at. Here is my personal favorite…
