5 Late-Round Sleepers the Buffalo Bills Should Target In 2015 NFL Draft

The Buffalo Bills have already gone through more changes than any other NFL team. With a new head coach, star running back and possibly a new starting QB, the Bills will look a lot different in 2015. Even more additions will be made through free agency and the draft. Here's a look at five late-round sleepers the Bills should target.

5. Ronald Martin (SS-LSU)

Ronald Martin is the type of physical safety Rex Ryan would love to see in a Bills uniform. Losing Da'Norris Searcy creates an opening at strong safety. While Duke Williams or a veteran should take over the starting role, a rookie like Martin would be a great addition as a backup. He plays extremely aggressive against both the run and the pass, which sometimes gets him into trouble. He should be available in Round 7.

4. James Rouse (DE-Marshall)

After six years at Marshall, James Rouse is making the jump to the NFL. He played all over the defensive line but spent the majority of the 2014 season at defensive tackle. With Rex Ryan converting Buffalo from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense, he'll need to draft personnel to fit his scheme. Rouse would play DE for the Bills. He doesn't have great speed, but he's physical enough to force his way into the backfield.

With Matt Cassel, E.J. Manuel and Jeff Tuel on the roster, the Bills likely won't take a QB early in the draft. A deep sleeper in this draft is Georgia's Hutson Mason. Rex Ryan loves to run the ball, and no one was better at handing the ball off in college than Mason. With Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb in the backfield, Mason wasn't asked to do too much with his arm. That's the same philosophy the Bills have. He's a long-term developmental project.

Several Ohio State prospects, including Curtis Grant, saw their stock rise after the Buckeyes' championship run. He's still not a lock to be drafted, but a lack of depth at ILB in this draft could push him into Day 3. He struggles against the pass but shows solid awareness in the run game. The question is whether or not he can cover enough ground to make plays outside. He's likely going to be limited to a 3-4 scheme, so the Bills are a fit.

Even though the Bills selected three offensive linemen in the 2014 draft, the team still has needs on the line. With depth being an issue, the team could once again invest multiple picks in the position. Terry Poole has a fifth-round grade, so the Bills need to select him early on Day 3 of the draft. He's a physical run blocker who would benefit LeSean McCoy immediately. However, if he's going to start, he needs to improve his pass protection.
