There has been no team making more headlines this offseason than the Philadelphia Eagles. They traded away running back LeSean McCoy, acquired linebacker Kiko Alonso and traded for quarterback Sam Bradford as well as signed running back DeMarco Murray. Heck, they have even brought Tim Tebow into the mix. Amidst all the headlines, here is a realistic expectation of how they should do in 2015.

While the Eagles are a more talented team than the Falcons, Atlanta is tough at home, especially in prime time. Even though Philly will have the better season, the Falcons will ride the boost they get from their home crowd on Monday Night Football to victory. Prediction: Falcons 30, Eagles 21

(0-1) Sept. 20: vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 pm ET Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
In what could become a stellar rivalry over the next couple seasons, the Cowboys and Eagles will clash in the season's second week in a game that has serious playoff implications. In the home opener, the Eagles' offense will just have enough firepower to squeak out a win. Prediction: Eagles 34, Cowboys 30

This may be something of a rebuilding year in New York after the coaching staff was changed. That doesn't mean they'll be a bad team, but they won't be able to score enough to win against a high-powered Eagles offense no matter who is under center for Philly. Prediction: Eagles 28, Jets 17

(2-1) Oct. 4: @ Redskins, 1:00 pm ET Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports
The 2015 Redskins have the potential to be an absolute disaster. With Robert Griffin III coming back, they could be really bad. Since the game is in Washington, maybe the Redskins keep it close, but the Eagles can pound the defense with DeMarco Murray in the first half to open up the passing game in the second half. Prediction: Eagles 31, Redskins 21

(3-1) Oct. 11: vs. Saints, 1:00 pm ET Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
The Saints should improve from a year ago, especially on the defensive side of the ball. They were ravaged by injuries on that unit last year. However, they traded away tight end Jimmy Graham, so Drew Brees doesn't have as many weapons to throw to. It'll be a shootout, but the Eagles come out on top. Prediction: Eagles 34, Saints 28

When New York comes to town, the Eagles will be on a roll and it won't stop in Week 5. Both teams can put points on the board, so it looks like Philly might be in for another shootout. No matter who is playing quarterback for them, Chip Kelly's fast-paced offense is going to put points on the board in bunches. Prediction: Eagles 40, Giants 28

Rolling into Carolina, the Eagles are going to be boasting one of the best offenses in the game, but the Panthers will be the best defense they've faced so far. Carolina will find a way to slow down the pace and control the clock to hand the Eagles their second loss of the season. Prediction: Panthers 24, Eagles 17

After two straight losses, the Eagles get back on track against the Dolphins at home. While Miami is better than some people think, quarterback Ryan Tannehill isn't capable of winning a shootout against an Eagles offense that is going to score early and often. Prediction: Eagles 27, Dolphins 20

If they're able to draft QB Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers are likely to take a step forward in 2015, but they're still not ready to compete with the NFC's elite teams. The Eagles seem to be one of those teams, especially in Philadelphia, and they should be able to run and throw all over Tampa Bay. Prediction: Eagles 34, Buccaneers 20

These Lions now seem like a team that is capable of winning big games. They are one of the most talented teams in the NFL and that should translate to a lot of wins in 2015. Playing on Thanksgiving in front of their home fans, the Lions should be more than motivated to stomp the Eagles. Prediction: Lions 38, Eagles 27

Make it two losses in a row for the Eagles as they march into Gillette Stadium. Tom Brady and Co. aren't ready to go away quite yet, and they can still score a ton. Rob Gronkowski will create matchup issues for the Eagles' secondary and be the deciding factor in a close game. Prediction: Patriots 27, Eagles 20

4. (7-5) Dec. 13: vs. Bills, 1:00 pm ET

(7-5) Dec. 13: vs. Bills, 1:00 pm ET Getty Images
For the first time in a while, Bills fans are actually justified in their hope for a playoff berth in 2015. They have an elite defense and a budding offense, which is now centered around former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy. In his first game against his old team, he should have a solid game, but the Eagles will be desperate in this game and just outlast the Bills in what has the makings of a classic. Prediction: Eagles 28, Bills 24

In yet another great home matchup, the Eagles and Cardinals will represent a clash of styles. The Cardinals slow things down, even though Carson Palmer and Co. will go to the air a lot, and they play solid defense. Meanwhile, the Eagles will play up-tempo and put points on the board. They say defense wins championships, but offense wins out in this one. Prediction: Eagles 24, Cardinals 14

A big blessing for the Eagles is that they get to play the Redskins twice a year. With the playoffs in sight and Washington coming to town, the Eagles should be able to once again handle their divisional foes. Of course, the Redskins will try to play spoiler, but DeMarco Murray and the rest of the offense will be too much. Prediction: Eagles 35, Redskins 21

With playoff positioning on the line, the Eagles will have plenty of motivation heading into New York. They will continue their divisional domination and move to 5-1 within the division against the Giants. Philly proves Chip Kelly's offense can sustain in the NFL and cruises into the playoffs. Prediction: Eagles 37, Giants 20 Final Record: 11-5 (First Wild Card, No. 5 Seed)
