2015 NFL Draft: Ranking the Buffalo Bills' Picks From Worst to First

The Buffalo Bills did not have a first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and they had a thin draft class overall with just six total selections.

Here's my ranking of Buffalo's draft picks this year, from worst to first.

6. Karlos Williams, RB, Florida State-5th Round, #155 Overall

Buffalo did not really need another running back, with LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon already on the roster. Williams could usurp Brown and Dixon immediately and eventually be No. 2 on the depth chart, but even in the fifth round the Bills should have addressed clearer needs.

5. Tony Steward, OLB, Clemson-6th Round, #188 Overall

Steward tore both ACLs during his college career, which kept him from reaching his potential after being a top recruit. Sixth-round picks have virtually no downside, but hoping for better health from a player still seems like a poor strategy.

4. John Miller, OG, Louisville-3rd Round, #81 Overall

The Bills needed to draft a guard, but it seems they reached for Miller in the third round with better options available.

3. Dezmin Lewis, WR, Central Arkansas-7th Round, #234 Overall

Lewis was considered a possibility to be drafted in the fourth or fifth round, so he was a solid value pick in the final round. His size (6'4") could allow him to be a red zone weapon right away, and Lewis could easily be Buffalo's No. 4 wide receiver come Week 1.

2. Nick O'Leary, TE, Florida State-6th Round, #194 Overall

The signing of Charles Clay as a free agent basically eliminated tight end as a big need for the Bills. But O'Leary was a great value pick in the middle of the sixth round, and he may be able to earn an immediate role.

1. Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State-2nd Round, #50 Overall

Leodis McKelvin and Stephon Gilmore are in place as Buffalo's top two cornerbacks, but having another capable option never hurts and Darby is in line to contribute immediately.
