The San Diego Chargers will look to get back into the playoffs next season, but will need some of their younger players to step up. They have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, and should be a playoff contender. Here are five Chargers who are facing make-or-break seasons in 2015.

After an excellent rookie season, Fluker regressed in his sophomore campaign. There were talks of moving him inside next year, although for the time being, he will remain at right tackle. He has great size, but needs to do a better job in pass protection.

Te’o will now be in his third season, and the team needs him to stay healthy. He has yet to show the playmaking skills that made him a unique talent in college, and now faces increased competition after the Chargers spent a second-round pick on another middle linebacker.

3. Johnnie Troutman

Troutman was arguably one of the worst guards in the league last season, and the offensive line as a whole struggled. The team needs him to play better in order to open up holes for Melvin Gordon and give more time to Philip Rivers.

2. Donald Butler

After signing a huge deal, Butler had one of his worst seasons as a pro. He has shown in the past that he can be a very good middle linebacker, and the team needs him to be one of the leaders on the field. He cannot be a liability for them, and he will also face increased competition if he does not produce.

1. Melvin Ingram

Ingram has shown that he has all the tools to be a good pass rusher in the league, but he needs to stay healthy and be more consistent. The Chargers need to establish more of a pass rush and Ingram is the guy who must step up.
