Last year, a group of San Francisco 49ers fans brawled in a bathroom at Levi’s Stadium (video can be seen HERE). The man who received the worst of the fight was critically injured and hospitalized with bleeding in his brain and required surgery to have a piece of his skull removed.

On Wednesday, one of the men involved in the fight last October was sentenced to five years in prison. Amador Rebollero, 28, pleaded no contest to two counts of assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury. According to court documents, Rebollero said he “doesn’t like getting pushed,” before throwing three punches.

Rebollero’s attorney issued a statement to SF Gate:

“Amador Rebollero accepts full responsibility for the harm that he caused to these two men, and he hopes that both of them continue to recover and heal.”
