The Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots are facing off in an exciting Monday night matchup this week. The Patriots are going to have a chance to move to 10-0 while the Bills and Rex Ryan will be looking to defeat their bitter rivals. The contest should be a good one, and here’s a look at what could possibly happen in the game.

The Patriots’ receiving corps is a little bit beat up right now, and Tom Brady will be without Julian Edelman for the first time this season. As a result, he may struggle getting the ball to his receivers. Because of this, rookie Ronald Darby will have a chance to make some plays against Brandon LaFell and Danny Amendola. He should be able to record another interception and add a couple of pass defenses to his league leading total.

The Bills have a mediocre run defense, so many think that LeGarrette Blount is going to end up leading the team in rushing yards. However, I think that the team may opt to utilize James White in the game plan more this week. White has more game-breaking ability, and he may be able to have a couple of longer runs on the day. White deserves more snaps as it is, and this could end up being a breakout game for him.

3. Tyrod Taylor Completes 75% of his Passes

This season has seen Tyrod Taylor emerge as one of the best quarterbacks that the Bills have started since Jim Kelly. Taylor has been very accurate, and he should be able to fare well again against the Patriots’ secondary, which has only been okay this season. Taylor will likely complete most of his passes once again, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see his completion percentage be north of 75 percent.

Tom Brady has to be the MVP favorite at the moment. He’s simply been terrific all season, and he has carried the Patriots’ offense to new heights this season. Brady should do well against the Bills, despite their solid secondary, and I have a feeling he’ll be able to throw three touchdowns on the day. Brady will probably use a heavy dose of his tight ends in the game plan to make the passing offense more effective.

As mentioned earlier, the Patriots have a banged up receiving corps. That means that the team is going to have to rely heavily on Rob Gronkowski to carry their passing offense. Gronkowski had a great first matchup with the Bills, and he will probably be able to get over 100 yards again. However, this time it’s more likely that he’ll grab two touchdowns, as opposed to one, because of the injury to Edelman.
