With the Washington Redskins being knocked out of the playoffs, Robert Griffin III ‘s career in the nation’s capital has all but come to an end. He will likely be elsewhere next season; here are his five most likely destinations.

How much would RGIII love to go to a division rival and troll the Redskins for the next five years? Whether the Eagles are interested remains to be seen, but without a coach and a solution at quarterback, they have to be considered a top-five destination.

4. Buffalo Bills

Tyrod Taylor showed flashes in 2015, but he certainly didn't assert himself as the Bills' franchise quarterback. RGIII could be throwing the deep ball to Sammy Watkins, one of the top young receivers in the game, and wouldn't have as much pressure as he had in Washington. He would certainly have to win the starting job in camp, but it wouldn't be impossible.

3. St. Louis Rams

How ironic would it be if the Rams got RGIII after receiving a plethora of draft picks from the Redskins so that Washington could take him with the No. 2 overall pick? The Rams seemed to be a quarterback away from being contenders this season and while RGIII is far from a franchise quarterback, he could potentially add some excitement and put fans in the seats, especially if the team is playing in Los Angeles in 2016 and beyond.

2. Houston Texans

Houston went through a quarterback carousel this season and it ended in disaster when Brian Hoyer put forth a terrible performance in the team's playoff game last weekend. They need a quarterback badly and based on RGIII's connections to Texas, they make a lot of sense. Put him in the mix with some other mediocre quarterbacks in training camp and let the best man win the job.

You know Jerry Jones would love to pull this one off. He loves Tony Romo and wouldn't want RGIII to start over him or anything, but he could certainly add another dimension to Dallas' offense. Even if he's just in for certain packages, that might be maximizing his value in the league. Reports say Griffin wants to play in Dallas, so he will end up there if the feeling is mutual.
