One of the oldest ways of motivating a football team is when you convince the team that somehow everybody is against them. The Carolina Panthers are one win away from their first Super Bowl, have been saying this all year and are still trying to convince themselves that this is true. Truthfully, there was some doubt by NFL experts and fans in the beginning, but why wouldn’t there be? A little over a year ago, their own fans wanted to run Ron Rivera out of town and were calling local radio shows asking if Cam Newton could be traded. What a difference a year makes. It’s truly time for the Panthers to stop playing the “us against the world” card. Here are five reasons why.

Miller was all over the place tonight, and made Cam Newton's life miserable with plays like this late in the fourth quarter.

Denver's T.J. Ward made an excellent play by intercepting Cam Newton, but he tried to do too much after the pick, and subsequently fumbled the ball. However, the Broncos recovered, and it turned out to be a huge play after all.

For whatever reason, Peyton Manning can't avoid making boneheaded throws in big games. Carolina Panthers DE Kony Ealy was there to capitalize when it happened late in the second half of Super Bowl 50.

There has never been a punt return for a touchdown in any Super Bowl, and Denver's Jordan Norwood tried to change that with this epic 61-yard run. He didn't hit paydirt, but did set the record for the longest punt return in Super Bowl history.

Von Miller is a beast, and the Carolina Panthers have no answer for him early on in Super Bowl 50. Miller destroyed Cam Newton on this play, and Malik Jackson recovered for a big touchdown.

You just knew someone on the Denver Broncos was going to dab at some point during the Super Bowl. Andre Caldwell dropped the first of what will likely be many dabs this evening.
