Carolina had plenty of chances. They had the ball with around four minutes remaining down by just six points, but the Panthers simply couldn't protect Cam Newton. Von Miller got to the quarterback once again and forced a fumble that Denver ultimately recovered. Newton had a chance to recover the ball himself, but inexplicably neglected to try.

C.J. Anderson Puts Nail In Panthers' Coffin With 2-Yard TD

After a penalty gave the Broncos a new set of downs, C.J. Anderson punched it in from two yards out to give Denver a 24-10 lead. This was insurmountable for Carolina.
