The Minnesota Vikings are in position to supplement a division winner with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, with few glaring needs left to address. In the first round, here are five players the Vikings must avoid.

If they don't view Jerick McKinnon as a favorable option, the Vikings could seek an heir apparent to Adrian Peterson in this year's draft. But they surely don't have to do it in the first round, and that means Henry will not be an option.

Cravens is an intriguing player, since he could play safety or linebacker at the next level. The Vikings could consider him in the second round, but No. 23 overall is too early to draft Cravens.

A talent like Nkemdiche would be hard to pass up at No. 23, but defensive line is not such a need for the Vikings that they have to embrace risk in the first round.

If Lee is already gone at No. 23, taking him obviously becomes moot. But assuming he's available, Pro Football Focus ranking Lee poorly against the run and pass last season is enough to offset his speed and the Vikings should avoid him.

Some mock drafts have Fuller going to the Vikings at No. 23, as they seem to be narrowing in on a wide receiver. But there are at least five wide receivers I like better than Fuller, and taking him in the first round is a serious reach.
