AC Milan

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven will be taking on a top Italian side in AC Milan in the first leg of the Champions League playoffs this Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. EDT.

The Dutch side are truly technically gifted as they have some of the stars of tomorrow in Zakkaria Bakkali, Jetro Willems and Luciano Narsingh, who are all explosive and can change games in an instant. If they can manage to have good games, then the team could be in good shape.

At the other end, Mario Balotelli will lead a line of stars that represent one of the best sides that Italy has to offer. Playing in Milan and wearing two of its colors on the road is a lot of work, but the guys at hand have the skill, talent and overall ability to complete the job.

PSV is a side that is based on technical ability and speed, with their goals being scored off of good build-ups and counter-attacks. Their defensive wing backs like to push up the field to assist in any way possible. Sometimes their appearances in the final third can make or break games.

AC Milan are a mixture of strength and speed, and are an overall European soccer side that can play from the ground or in the air to both defend and make their offensive push. The team has wingers such as Stephan El Shaarawy and Robinho who can make things happen down the flanks. Their central midfielders in Prince Boateng and Riccardo Montolivo can control the tempo of the games and direct traffic when holding possession.

Both teams have talent, but if a winner has to be chosen right now, AC Milan would definitely fit the bill.

Prediction: PSV Eindhoven 1-2 AC Milan

The home side will outrun and perhaps even out-shoot their Italian visitors, but will not find the back of the net as many times. The overall experience of Milan will be shown and proven to be worth more than the home sides.

This will be a good match to watch regardless of who wins because it is a playoff series that will send one side into the group stage of the Champions League.
