Paris Saint Germain will look to continue with their perfect start of the European season against an Anderlecht side that hasn’t won and hasn’t even been able to score through two Champions League matches so far.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s team passed the challenge of both Benfica and Olympiakos with ease and they have six points in their first two games. The Belgian champions, on the other hand, are the opposite side of the spectrum as they sit in the last place of the zone after two consecutive losses.

The French side have one of the best attacking pairings in the whole world with Zlatan and Edinson Cavani. Despite the fact that they are still building chemistry to play together, they are already a very dangerous duo and they strike fear in any opposition as they are able to change the course of a game in any given moment.

The support of players like Marco Verratti and Lucas Moura could also come into play as the performances of some of the youngsters have been vital in PSG’s start of the season.

Anderlecht, on the other side, have the advantage of playing at home, but nothing else. Their squad isn’t very strong to compete at this level, and their focus in this match would be not to receive too many goals against. Due to this, the play of goalkeeper Silvio Proto could prove to be vital to maintain the team in the match as long as they are able to.

Prediction: Anderlecht 0-3 Paris Saint Germain

The Belgian side simply don’t stand a chance against a much better French team. The sole quality of Cavani and Zlatan up front is enough to consider them favorites for this game, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see one of the two having a great game in front of goal.
