Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov has been a big part of the team’s turnaround since being traded from the Denver Nuggets in early January. The 7-foot-1 defensive anchor was born and raised in Russia and came to the U.S. after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Knicks in 2010.
As one of the best players to ever come out of the country, Mozgov likely has to do a lot of interviews in Russian for the media back home. During a pregame interview before the Cavaliers 117-92 over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, Mozgov answered the first question in his native language.
