This headbutting goal by Andrew Shaw would have won Game 2 for the Chicago Blackhawks in double overtime if you were actually allowed to use your head to score in hockey.
It looks like someone forgot to remind Andrew Shaw about the NHL rules that prohibits players from scoring a goal using their head. Shaw would have scored the game-winning goal for the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Anaheim Ducks, but the rules are the rules.
Even if it didn’t count, you can’t help but admit this was one of the sweetest goals you’ll ever see by Shaw.
