Marcus Lee: 2013 Forward Considering Seven High-Major Schools

One of the top prospects in the class of 2013, Marcus Lee, has trimmed his list suitors down to seven.

The news of Lee’s decision broke early Wednesday morning.

At 6-foot-9, Lee is a California-native, but his final seven possibilities range from coast-to-coast. Lee currently attends Deer Valley H.S. (CA).

After a tremendous month of July, Lee’s recruitment continued to rise, and his final seven schools are an indication of his top-flight potential at the collegiate level.

Lee is down to the following schools: Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville, Duke, California, Indiana, and UCLA.

By way of Antioch, California, Lee is labeled by many of the major recruiting outlets, as well as one of the top prospects within the class of 2013. ESPN ranks Lee at No. 27, while Rivals pins the power forward at No. 33 nationally.

Jerry Meyer of 247Sports first broke the list, via twitter.

Lee has yet to plan any visits for the fall months, but things will certainly come up soon for the forward. The NCAA grants players five official visits of their choice, so Lee would have to take two unofficial visits, if he has plans to see all seven campuses.

Lee ran with California Supreme on the AAU circuit.
