On Friday night, Michigan became the latest school to offer Jae’Sean Tate.

The 6-foot-5 small forward holds a select number of offers already and as his recruitment continues to rise, so too can be the expected number of interests.

A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Tate has already received a handful of scholarships from some of the top programs in his area, including a select number of Big Ten schools.

The Wolverines and head coach John Beilein only became the latest to do so.

Tate, who currently attends Pickertington Central H.S. (OH), tweeted the news on Friday evening.

Not only is Tate among the best prospects in his state, his continued improvement has amounted him among the elite within the class of 2014. ESPN lists Tate at No. 46, while Rivals pins him at No. 63 nationally.

Schools like West Virginia and Georgetown continue to show interest in Tate, while other programs have already stepped up to the plate and offered the wing forward.

In addition to his recent scholarship from Michigan, Tate also boasts offers from Dayton, Ohio State, Iowa, Purdue, and Xavier, according to his recruiting profiles from the aforementioned outlets.

Tate ran with the All-Ohio Red program on the AAU circuit this past summer.
