Video: Hottest College Basketball Team In America Is In South Bend, Ind.
SOUTH BEND, Ind — Notre Dame Men’s Basketball Team found themselves sitting at 11-8 overall and 3-3 in Big East play on January 21st, 2012 before they had to play #1 Syracuse. From the video above, not only was their upset win over Syracuse significant for beating the number one team in the nation, but at the time the start of their seven game winning streak.
After last night, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish find themselves at 18-8 overall, and 10-3 in Big East play. Notre Dame has been led by the play of big man Jack Cooley who is averaging a double double in the last seven games with just over 14 points and 10 rebounds a game. Along with Syracuse, Notre Dame has beaten the likes of Connecticut, Marquette, and West Virginia. Notre Dame is currently ranked #23 in the nation and will be moving up shortly.
