My Name is Derek Ayala I live around Fort Worth, Texas. I grew up loving the game of basketball and as a kid in the 1990's of course I fell in love with the Chicago Bulls. As I grew up I became a hardcore fan of the Dallas Mavericks and still am today, but the only thing different is that I am not like any other fan. I'm not going to say that my team is going to the Finals after starting 5-20. I see the game as a coach would, but still rooting for the Mavericks. I follow all 30 NBA teams and have done so since I was a freshman in High School. Other than sports I love to spend time with my wife, Jaqui, who means the world to me and who I love very dearly. If I had to give up sports for her I would. She comes before anything else and I would not change it for anything in the world.
