Braves P Tommy Hanson involved in one-car accident
Per reports, Atlanta Braves pticher Tommy Hanson was involved in a one-car accident while traveling to the team’s training camp facility in Lake Buena Vista, Florida early Monday morning.
Hanson informed team officials upon his arrival at the facility that he may have “blown a tire” and hit his head, but he was ok at the time, and begun drills scheduled for the day. A short time later, Hanson approached the team training staff to notify them he was not well and was taken to a local hospital for observation and concussion testing.
At the time of this post, no additional information has been released about Hanson’s condition, but word has it that he should be fine to participate in practice on Tuesday.
The Atlanta Braves and Hanson enter the 2012 season as one of the favorites in the competitive NL East.
