Broncos QB Brady Quinn Flies to Japan After Girlfriend, Gymnast Alicia Sacramone, Ruptures Achilles.
He may the odd man out in Denver, but for the other second-string quarterback—not named Tim Tebow—quarterback Brady Quinn has shown to be a loyal and devoted boyfriend.
According to FanIQ, Quinn flew out on the first red-eye from Denver after hearing of Sacramone injuring and rupturing her Achilles tendon preparing for the World Championships in Tokyo.
Quinn, a former stand-out at Notre Dame and first-round draft pick by his home-town Cleveland Browns has not played since 2009.
After being acquired in a trade from Cleveland for halfback Peyton Hillis, Quinn would put up impressive numbers for the Denver Broncos in preseason before being demoted to second-string alongside quarterback Tim Tebow.
With the current quarterback controversy in Denver fully coming to a head, it appears that Quinn is using his time wisely by not wasting it on the bench by choosing to fly half-way around the world to be by his girlfriend’s bedside instead.
Even a Notre Dame and Brady Quinn hater can respect that.
