When you say the name Jerry Sandusky people shake their heads in disgust at the man in the center of the Penn State sex abuse scandal. When you say the name Dottie Sandusky people assume she is somehow connected to the shamed former Penn State football coach. She of course is the wife of the accused sexual predator and after what she was caught trying to do to a reporter with her car people will know her for being just as nuts as her husband.
While taping a report in front of the Sandusky house a reporter and her photographer from Pittsburgh’s WPXI-TV were nearly run over Sandusky’s wife, Dottie. You can actually hear Mrs. Sandusky step on the gas and pick up speed as she approaches the driveway in front of the Sandusky residence.
What’s even more disturbing than the vehicular manslaughter attempt caught on film is the story the reporter was working on. She was following up on complaints of Sandusky watching children play at a nearby park from his backyard.
Can this story get any stranger? Apparently it already has.
