Miami Heat forward/creature Ve-Bosh-i-Raptor, aka Chris Bosh returned for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. As seen below, exclusive footage was captured of this rare beast in action. Ve-bosh-i-raptor had one shining moment in Game 5, completing a three-point play with 1:17 left in the opening quarter — punctuated with a thunderous roar. He finished with nine points and seven rebounds on 3 for 8 shooting during the 14 minutes coach Erik Spoelstra unleashed him.
Post-game, Spoelstra commented on Ve-Bosh-i-Raptor absence on the floor late in Game 5 saying, “I didn’t think it would be fair to him, to throw him in with three minutes to go.” Bosh was still in the process of digesting his end-of-the-3rd-quarter feeding so that’s certainly understandable.
Unfortunately, Ve-Bosh-i-raptor is just one game away from extinction. Thursday’s Game 6 in Boston could be your last chance his skills are on display in the 2012 season.
