Dwight Howard Doesn’t Take Too Kindly to Haters on Twitter

Dwight Howard

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Dwight Howard knows all about haters, especially with the antics he has pulled this summer, leaving the Los Angeles Lakers in dramatic fashion for the Houston Rockets.

Fans of the Lakers and basically every NBA team out there outside of the Rockets have been bad-mouthing the big man. He’s been called every name in the book and basically told he won’t ever amount to anything because of the drama and baggage that he brings to the table.

One fan in particular got the brunt of Howard’s building frustration. She stated basically what every Howard-hater has said, but she got the short end of the stick — he actually responded.

While the comeback would have been better without a spelling error, Howard still embarrassed the girl by basically saying she was too ugly to get married.

Sure, many people believe he can’t get it done on a team with James Harden if he couldn’t get it done with Kobe Bryant, but he does have mounting frustration, I’m sure. Constantly hearing people’s doubts of you and people talking about you like you aren’t a person, but an object, has to get old — fast.

The big man has the potential to be one of the best centers of all-time, but he needs to grow up big time, and not responding to Twitter haters might be the first step. Although it was a funny response, it was extremely immature and probably grew his anti-fan base.

Great work once again, Dwight.
