Kevin Durant Carelessly Blocks Elementary-Aged Kids’ Shots at Camp

Kevin Durant has been known as one of the league’s stand-up guys. He happens to be one of the best players in the NBA, but his recent antics may have you thinking otherwise.

Okay, maybe what you’re about to see isn’t that bad, it’s actually pretty funny. Durant is one of the longest, leanest guys in the league and sometimes his length helps him on defense. Kevin Durant’s basketball camp this week showcased some of his best shot-blocking skills and some elementary-aged kids got to see that first-hand.

Obviously these are just little kids and Durant is the former NBA Rookie of the Year, three-time scoring champion and four-time NBA All-Star, but the fact that he is teaching these kids that nothing in life comes easy is just awesome of him. Swatting these innocent little children’s measly shot attempts is exactly what parents paid hundreds of dollars for by signing their children up for the camp.

Okay, sure these kids will never forget that one of the best players of all-time — when it’s all said and done — blocked their shot when they were a kid. Heck, some even have the video evidence to prove it, but every adult or young adult knows that the only time you can block a little kid’s shot is if they’re your little brother or your son.

Either way, this is one of the funniest videos you will see of Durant and there’s no way that these kids will be driving to the basket against the big man any time soon.

I think he just discouraged these kids from stepping into the lane ever again. Well done, Kevin.
