With more than 1 billion people watching world wide, all the attention was on the India vs Pakistan World Cup match in Adelaide on Saturday. Following India's 76-run victory, fans at the Merrylands RSL Club broke out into a brawl. Four people were taken to a hospital after sustaining injuries, among the 40 that were in the club.

As expected, nothing between these two nations can go down peacefully.

A witness said the brawl went from the club and was taken out into the streets. Supposedly chairs and tables were thrown across the room and one person was even hit by glass. None of the injuries are life threatening. No arrests have yet been made.

This weekend's WC match was the first time India and Pakistan faced off against each other in about a year. With figures close to 1.5 billion people watching, expecting a peaceful ending would just be juvenile. It will be interesting to see how certain nations react to wins and losses as the tournament progresses.
