Following India's recent domination over the likes of Pakistan, South Africa and the UAE, Indian cricketing legend and World Cup ambassador Sachin Tendulkar spoke about the team's level of play. Here are some quotes from the ICC press release.

"So far whatever I have seen we have concretised that spot," said Tendulkar. "It looks very bright. I am happy but I am not satisfied. I want the team to continue doing this."

"I had said earlier that they can bat better, because I know their talent I know their capability," Tendulkar added. "And we batted beautifully yesterday. The finish could have been better but at no stage we felt that we were short of ideas and at no stage it looked as if the South Africans have tied us down. We were prepared to hang in there also prepared for that chance to put the loose ball away and we did so."

“This is a new experience to me where I’m watching an ICC Cricket World Cup match from the stands," Tendulkar explained. "The atmosphere is fantastic. Absolutely, it is something that I have experienced but not sitting in the stands. I was always on the other side of the fence. Being a World Cup Ambassador I’m supposed to be neutral, but my heart says something and my brain says something. So, I’ve got to stick to my heart and support India.”
