San Antonio keeps on winning and doing it under the radar. They just may be the most under appreciated team in the league. They do it in a small market with a team that lacks the superstar egos that many other teams have. They don’t say look at us, we deserve credit; rather, they credit each and every player on the team, and will be happily ignored by the media until they make a statement in the playoffs.

San Antonio has won their last four games on the road as part of the annual rodeo road trip. On this winning streak, they have beaten the following teams: Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis again, Philadelphia 76′ers, New Jersey Nets, and the Detroit Pistons.

Not exactly the cream of the crop, but they handled the Thunder easily, and beat a solid 76′ers team. The road trip continues with the Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers, Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, and concluding at the Denver Nuggets in their final contest before the All Star Break.

The Spurs will have played two back to backs on their road trip, with tonights game against the Toronto Raptors. They play the Jazz and Trail Blazers back to back on Feb 20/21. The Spurs very easily could be on a 13 game winning streak by the time the All Star break comes in a little over a week and a half.

The Spurs also have the most wins against teams in the NBA with a winning record, currently at 14-5. Oklahoma City is second at 13-4, and the Heat are in a tie for third with the Clippers at 11 wins.

San Antonio is just doing things how they always have. Consistent, winning basketball that shares the blame in loss and the difference in the victories.
